New Submission Portals for SlideRoom
Finished designing the new user submission portals for SlideRoom a few weeks back. I must say this was a fun and challenging project for a great company with great people!
The new Design should be implemented and launched in early September. I can’t wait to see it in action!
Here is a sneakpeek of some of the new features along with screen shots of the new look and feel.
My role on this project was to redesign their existing application. The enhancements are a direct response to the user and client requests and SlideRoom’s analysis of usage trends over the last two years.
I Worked closely with Chris Jagers and Derek Bumpas the owners and creators of SlideRoom to nail down the final look and feel, improve the information architecture, and usability issues from the original design.
The application is all built in Flex, so I designed with that in mind. My goal was to deliver a custom look that could be achieved using flex css and a very limited number of images. I think I achieved that goal!
